Wings of a Dream by Anne Mateer

WINGS OF A DREAM is a wonderfully written story of the growth and maturing of a young lady during the trying times of WWI and the Spanish Influenza outbreaks of 1918 and 1919.  It is a look at the lives of those who had loved ones overseas and their struggles. Well written and engaging, I would encourage you to read this book for the historical merit as well and the literary experience.
